Dasia Tyler was born in Brooklyn, New York & raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; talk about a mixture of northern sass and southern belle. She is a proud & active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and The National Coalition Of 100 Black Women Incorporated MECCA Chapter.  Dasia has always had a passion for journalism & after graduating from Coastal Carolina University she set out to pursue her career. Dasia’s ambition led her to Atlanta, Georgia where she has been able to fully engulf herself in the entertainment industry. Dasia landed a job opportunity as a media personality working with networks & media outlets such as HLN, Rolling Out, BET, & Red Carpet Express. While conducting interviews from films' and televisions' most coveted celebrities such as Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Traci Ellis Ross, Common & many more Dasia has experienced much success... But that wasn't enough. In 2014 Dasia founded Voice Of Philanthropy; a non-profit organization that strictly covers and highlights philanthropy events & endeavors across the country. With her biggest passion being Philanthropy Dasia has had the honor to work with several foundations & organizations including United Way, The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, Operation Hope, Neyo Compound Foundation & various other organizations in Atlanta, Chicago, & New York. Dasia’s goal is to leave an imprint on the world, to use the time & resources that God has blessed her with to be a blessing to others.  Dasia lives by this motto:
